Harshen Ingilishi na Kamaru yare ne na Ingilishi da galibi ake magana da shi a cikin Kamaru, galibi ana koyan shi azaman yare na biyu.[1] Yana da kamanceceniya da nau'ikan Ingilishi a makwabciyar Afirka ta Yamma, kamar yadda Kamaru ke yammacin Afirka ta Tsakiya.[2] magana ne da farko a yankunan Arewa maso yamma da kudu maso yammacin Kamaru.[3]


Wani nau'in Ingilishi ne na bayan mulkin mallaka, ana amfani da shi tsawon lokaci a cikin ƙasa (Kudancin Kamaru, yanzu ya rabu zuwa Arewa maso Yamma da Kudu maso Yamma). A cikin shekaru da yawa, ta ɓullo da fasali na musamman, musamman a cikin ƙamus amma kuma a cikin phonology da nahawu. Waɗannan halayen an taɓa ɗaukar su a matsayin kurakurai amma yanzu an ƙara karɓar su azaman gudummawar Kamaru na musamman ga harshen Ingilishi.

Wayoyin wayoyi /ɔː/, /ʌ/ da /ɒ/ sukan haɗawa zuwa /ɔː/, suna yin "gadon gado", "kama" da "yanke" homophones.[4] Hakazalika, "kulle" da "sa'a" ana furta su iri ɗaya. Kuma "ma'aikacin farar kwala" wani lokaci ya zama "ma'aikacin launin fata" a Kamaru.[5]

"daki-daki" = daki-daki

"don gani tare da ni" = yarda da ni; don ganin ra'ayi na

"aika-aika" = ta kashi-kashi

"ko kwanan nan" = kwanan nan; kwanan nan
