Tan Sri Yahaya bin Ahmad haihuwa (11 ga watan Agustan shekara ta alif dari tara da arba'in da bakwai 1947 -mutuwa 2 ga watan Maris shekara ta alif dari tara da arba'in da bakwai 1997)[1] shi ne wanda ya kafa, shugaban kuma babban jami'in zartarwa na kungiyar DRB-HICOM ta Malaysia . An san shi da suna "Car Czar" na Malaysia.[2][3][4]

An haifi Yahaya Ahmad a ranar 11 ga watan Agusta 1947 a Marang, Terengganu, Malaysia . Ya sami karatunsa daga Kwalejin Malay Kuala Kangsar a Kuala Kangsar, Perak . Tan Sri Yahaya Ahmad ta auri Puan Sri Rohana Othman a ranar 17 ga Janairun 1979 kuma suna da 'ya'ya hudu. Sun zauna a Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor .

Shugaban DRB HICOM

Yahaya Ahmad ya shiga cikin duniyar mota a shekarar 1985 yayin kaddamar da motar ƙasa ta Malaysia Proton Saga ta Firayim Minista na Malaysia Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad na lokacin. An nada shi a matsayin shugaban DRB-HICOM a ranar 1 ga Janairun 1994. Ta hanyar kamfanin, Yahaya Ahmad ya sami nasarar kama mai kera motoci na kasa Proton. A cikin shekarun 1990s an ƙaddamar da Proton Iswara da Proton Wira. A watan Afrilu na shekara ta 1996, an kaddamar da Proton Tiara. Daga baya, a watan Oktoba na shekara ta 1996, Proton ta hanyar Yahaya Ahmad ya mallaki Lotus.[5] Daga nan ne Manajan Darakta Datuk Seri Mohd Nadzmi Salleh ya karbe shi tare da Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff .

A shekara ta 1997, Ministan Kudi Anwar Ibrahim a matsayin Firayim Minista na Malaysia tare da Tan Sri Yahaya Ahmad, tare sun warware tarwatsa zirga-zirga a kusa da birnin Kuala Lumpur ta hanyar kafa bas din Intrakota (yanzu bas din RapidKL) wanda ke ba da damar shiga sufuri na jama'a na musamman.
