Harsunan Sawabantu Wani rukuni ne na yaren Bantu wanda ya ƙunshi yawancin yankuna A.20 da A.30 na rabe-raben Guthrie, kuma wataƙila suma ɓangare ne na yankin A.10. Dangane da Nurse da Philippson a shekara ta (2003), harsunan A.20 da A.30 ban da Bubi suna da ingancin kumburi. Mafi mahimmancin waɗannan yarukan shine Duala, wanda shine yare mai hawa.

Harsunan A.20

Bayan yaren A.20 da A.30, yaren yare na Oroko na A.10 da alama yana da alaƙa da ƙungiyar Sawabantu a fili: [2]

Ana magana da harsunan A.20 a kewayen yankin Wouri da kuma yankin anglophone kusa da Dutsen Kamaru . Ana magana da yarukan A.30 a gefen tekun Atlantika na kudancin Kamaru har zuwa arewacin Gabon . Wadannan rukuni-rukuni biyu suna da alaka a fili; misali, Limba (Malimba, A.26) ya ba da rahoton wani mataki na fahimtar juna da Tanga (Batanga, A.32), wanda suke kira "Old Malimba". [3] Ana magana da Oroko a sassan Ndian da Meme a Yankin Kudu maso Yammacin Kamaru. Oroko ya kasance yana kusa da Kpwe (A.22), wanda za'a iya fahimtar fahimtar juna ta wani fannin. [4]
