Edward Kofi Donkor (An haife shi a shekarar 1942 - Ya rasu a shekarar 1995) ya kasance babban mawaƙin kasar Ghana. Ya shahara ana kiranshi Babban Eddie Donkor ko Eddie Donkor Senior.

An haifi Eddie Donkor a Akropong a Yankin Gabas na Gold Coast (yanzu Ghana) a ranar 6 ga watan Maris, shekarar 1942. Babban iliminsa ya kasance a Makarantar Presbyterian ta Akropong. Yana sha'awar kiɗa tun yanada ƙuruciya.[1]

Ƙungiyar Eddie Donkor ita ce 'African Brothers Band' wadda aka ƙaddamar da ita a gidan silima' da ke Accra a shekarar 1963. Asalin mambobin ƙungiyar su ne Eddie Donkor (muryoyi da kaɗe-kaɗe), Patrick Ampadu (Paa-Still), Rover Kofi Amoh, Malami Maxwell Boateng, A. Koo Ofori, Kwame Anim, Nana Nyarko, Yaw Asante da Yaw Owusu. Daga baya ya bar wannan rukunin don kafa ƙungiyarsa, Babban Eddie Donkor da 'The Asiko Internationals Band'.[1] Daya daga cikin waɗanda suka yi nasara waɗanda suka kafa wannan ƙungiya ita ce Nana Kwame Ampadu wacce ita ma ta zama fitacciyar mawakiyar 'highlife'.[2]

Ya kasance daya daga cikin fitattun mawakan kiɗa na 'highlife' a kasar Ghana kuma ya zagaya ƙasashe daban -daban ciki har da Amurka. Mawakan Eddie Donkor sun yi wasa a wasu manyan wuraren shakatawa a Ghana ya shahara sosai. Mai kama da yawancin makada da raye raye a lokacin, galibi ana yin wasan kwaikwayo tare da wasan barkwanci yayin tsaka -tsaki. Shahararrun yan wasan barkwanci kamar Bob Okala galibi suna zagayawa tare da Babban Eddie Donkor.[3]

Eddie Donkor ya rasu a ranar 24 ga watan Afrilu, shekara ta 1995. An binne shi a mahaifarsa ta Akropong.[1]
