Ganiyu Olawale Dawodu (1935–2006) wanda aka fi sani da G.O.D a Legas, ɗan siyasar Najeriya ne kuma mai fafutukar dimokuraɗiyya. Ya kasance jigo a jam'iyyar National Democratic Coalition wanda aka fi sani da NADECO a Najeriya a zamanin mulkin Sani Abacha. Sai gamayyar ta kasance wani yunƙuri ne na kuɓutar da ɗan siyasar nan MKO Abiola daga gidan yari, a halin da ake ciki, an ɗaure shi ne saboda goyon bayansa na Abiola.[1]
A cikin shekarar 2000, ya kasance a yaƙin neman zarcewa ga tsohuwar jam'iyyar siyasa ta Alliance for Democracy reshen Legas. Ya yi adawa da fitowar Gwamna Tinubu a daga 1998 zuwa 1999 kuma ya goyi bayan marigayi Funsho Williams, ƴan adawar Tinubu. Bambance-bambancen da ke tsakaninsu ya kaure har zuwa cikin shekarar 2000, kuma a shekarar 2003, ya bar jam’iyyar zuwa jam’iyyar Progressive Action Coalition, kuma shi ne ɗan takarar gwamnan Legas a jam’iyyar.[2]
An haifi Dawodu a Legas kuma ya halarci makarantar Ansar Ud Deen, Makarantar Elementary, Okepopo, Legas. Daga nan ya wuce makarantar Ahmadiya kafin ya wuce St Gregory's College, Legas.
A lokacin jamhuriya ta farko ta Najeriya, ya kasance ɗan majalisar birnin Legas daga bisani ya zama shugaban majalisar birnin Legas.
