Jami'ar Vista, Afirka ta Kudu an kafa ta ne a cikin 1981 [1] ta gwamnatin wariyar launin fata don tabbatar da cewa za a saukar da baƙar fata na Afirka ta Kudu da ke neman ilimi a cikin garuruwa maimakon a makarantun da aka tanada don wasu kungiyoyin jama'a. [2][3]

Cibiyoyin karatu

Cibiyoyinta sun kasance a Bloemfontein, [4] Daveyton (East Rand), Mamelodi, Port Elizabeth, Sebokeng, Soweto da Welkom. Babban ofishin gudanarwa da Cibiyar Ilimi ta Tsakiya (VUDEC) suna cikin Pretoria.[5]

A ƙarshen shekarun 1990 zuwa farkon shekarun 2000 Jami'ar Vista da Jami'ar Florida ta Tsakiya sun haɓaka shirin hulɗa na juna wanda aka tsara don:

1) Samar da shirin ilimi na nesa mai zurfi ga ƙalubalen cikin gida, gami da haɓaka Cibiyoyin Taimako na Dalibai na Jami'ar Vista.

2) Inganta damar shirye-shirye daban-daban, gami da shirin zamantakewa da ma'aikatan ilimi ta hanyar tsarin koyar da ilimi mai dacewa, ci gaban tsarin karatu, koyarwar kafofin watsa labarai da jadawalin bincike.

Jami'ar ta rufe a matsayin wani ɓangare na sake tsara jami'o'in Afirka ta Kudu a farkon zuwa tsakiyar 2000s. An haɗa kayan aikinta da wasu ma'aikatanta cikin wasu jami'o'i, gami da:
