Kokoro abinci ne na ciye-ciye da aka saba yi a Najeriya. Ana yin ta ne da garin masara da aka gauraye da sukari da gari (rogo) ko garin dawa da soyawa sosai.[1] Ana sayar da shi a jihar Ogun a Najeriya.
A cikin wani bincike na 1991 na abinci da ake sayar wa ƴan makaranta a Legas, an sayo samfurin kokoro daga rumfuna kuma an yi nazarin ƙwayoyin cuta. An ware nau'o'in kwayoyin cutar guda goma, ciki har da kwayoyin cutar da ke da alaka da gubar abinci da gudawa, suna nuna bukatar inganta kula da tsafta a cikin shirye-shiryensu, da kuma neman hanyoyin da za a tsawaita rayuwarsu.[2]
A cikin binciken da aka yi da nufin nemo sigar da ta inganta darajar abinci mai gina jiki, an gano cewa za a iya amfani da waken soya mai kitse ko fulawar wainar gyada, amma ba a yarda da dandano da laushi ba fiye da kashi 10% na jimillar fulawar.[3] Wani ingantaccen abincin ciye-ciye da aka samu daga ƙwayar ƙwayar cuta ya samo asali ne ta hanyar dafa abinci daban-daban na masara, waken soya da kayan abinci kamar barkono, albasa, gishiri, dabino, plantain da ayaba.[4]
