Korup
Korup ƙabila ce ta mutanen da ke dazuzzuka a lardin Kudu maso Yammacin Kamaru da kuma kusa da Jihar Cross River ta Najeriya. A yanzu haka akwai ƙauyukan Korup guda huɗu a ɓangaren Kamaru: Erat (aka Ekon II), Ekon I, Ikondokondo (shima ana rubuta shi Ekundukundu) da Akpassang (aka Ikondokondo II). Kauyen da ya fi kowane girma shi ne Erat, tare da kusan mutane 450, [1] kuma tana nan a Korup National Park - wacce ta samo asalin sunanta daga mutanen Korup da ke zaune a daji. Ikondokondo ya kasance cikin wurin shaƙatawar watau Korup National Park, amma an sake matsar da ita zuwa yankin karamar wurin shakatawa a shekarar 2000, arewacin garin Mundemba. Wannan shine dalilin da ya sa Ikondokondo a halin yanzu ake kiransa da "the Resettlement" watau wanda aka canzawa wuri. Garuruwan Akpassang da Ekon I suna kusa, amma a wajen iyakokin wuraren shakatawar.
Ƙauyukan Korup na Najeriya, kamar su Ekonanaku, suna da girma amma ba mazaunan Korup ne kawai ke zaune ba. Yawancin samari ba sa jin yaren Korup, kodayake suna bayyana kansu kamar na kabilun Korup.[2]
Alaƙar ƙauyukan Korup da sauran ƙabilun yankin (watau Oroko, Ejagham) a zamanin yau abin kauna ne, kuma galibi ana yin auren al'adu daban-daban, musamman tare da mafi yawan kabilun Oroko. A baya dai, ana yawan samun rikici tsakanin kauyukan kabilu daban-daban kan mallakar dazuzzuka.[3]

(Lura: Pidgin na Kamaru, kodayake suna da kamanceceniya da Pidgin na Najeriya, ba daidai yake ba, kodayake masu magana da kowane ɗayansu suna da fahimtar juna sosai).
