Kwalejin Likitanci, Jami'ar Legas (CMUL) kuma aka sani da Medilag ita ce makarantar likitancin da ke da alaƙa da Jami'ar Legas. Tana nan a Idi-Araba, Legas kusa da takwararta, Asibitin Koyarwa na Jami'ar Legas.[1] Kwalejin tana da jimillar ma'aikata 1,850 a sassan 32.[2]

An kafa kwalejin likitacin ne a ranar 13 ga Afrilu 1962 ta wani mataki na Majalisar Tarayya[3] daga cikin Jami'ar Legas don horar da kwararru a fannin likitanci, likitan hakori da sauran fannonin da suka shafi lafiya.[4][5][6] An shigar da rukunin farko na ɗaliban likitanci 28 a kwalejin a watan Oktoba 1962 kuma sun fara karatu a ranar 3 ga Oktoba, 1962.

Kwalejin tana da fannuka guda 3 da suka hada da:

  • Faculty of Clinical Sciences
  • Faculty of Dental Sciences

Hakanan kwalejin tana ba da horon karatun digiri na biyu a fannin Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology da Kiwon Lafiyar Jama'a.

Bincike da haɗin gwiwa

Kwalejin ta shiga binciken magunguna da suka hada da bincike kan cutar kanjamau, zazzabin cizon sauro, tarin fuka na MDR, zazzabin Lassa da sauransu. Tana da Cibiyar Bincike ta Tsakiya (CRC) wacce ke aiki azaman cibiyar bincike. Hakanan yana da kwamitin da'a na bincike wanda ya amince da duk bincike.

Makarantar da haɗin gwiwar da WHO / TDR, CDC, Asibitin Cututtuka na wurare masu zafi [HTD], Cibiyar Malaria ta Ostiraliya, Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), Geneva, Family Health International (FHI), Harvard / APINS da Volkswagen Stifung Foundation, Jamus kan batutuwan da suka shafi zazzabin cizon sauro, HIV/AIDS, zazzabin Lassa, tarin fuka da dai sauransu.
