Wasan ƙwallon ƙafa shi ne wasan da ya fi shahara ga mata a Somaliya. Sai dai duk da haka, Somaliya ba ta da kungiyar kwallon kafa ta mata da FIFA ta amince da ita, kuma ba ta taba buga wasa ko daya a duniya ba. Suna cikin yankin da ke fuskantar kalubale da dama don bunkasa harkokin wasanni na mata. A watan Afrilun 2012, kungiyar kwallon kafa ta kasar ta fuskanci koma baya a lokacin da aka kashe shugabanta Said Mohamed Nur a wani harin kunar bakin wake da ya yi sanadiyar mutuwar shugaban kwamitin shirya gasar Olympics ta kasar.[20]
