Hukumar tana da alaƙa da Hukumar Kula da Tashoshin Jiragen Ruwa ta Najeriya kuma tana ƙarƙashin kulawar Ma'aikatar Sufuri (Nijeriya) . Majalisar ta mayar da hankali kan shigo da fitar da kaya dangane da jigilar kaya daga tashar jiragen ruwa zuwa tashar jiragen sama ta hanyar sarkar sufuri.[3] Manufarta ita ce ta kafa ingantaccen yanayi ga duk masu ruwa da tsaki na Najeriya ta hanyar sanya isasshen tsarin tsarin tsarin tattalin arziki mai kyau a bangaren sufuri na Tashar jiragen ruwa na Najeriya.[4][5][6]
