Manasse Mbonye masanin ilmin taurari ne wanda aka haifa a Gahini, Ruwanda. A halin yanzu shi ne Babban Sakatare na Majalisar Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Kasa a Kigali.

Iyayen Mbonye (Reuben Rwabuzisoni, mahaifinsa) malamai ne. Ya yi karatun sakandare a makarantar Nyakasura da ke Uganda. Ya halarci Kwalejin Fourah Bay a Saliyo, sannan ya sami digiri na uku a Jami'ar Connecticut a shekara ta 1996. Ya samu Ph.D. a Dissertation on "Gravitational Perturbations of Radiating Spacetimes"[1] tare da kafa da ayyukansa a cikin "Kokarin Sake Gina Ilimin Ruwanda" (RERE) ya ba shi a shekarar 1996 Ph.D. a fannin "Graduate na Shekara" a Jami'ar Connecticut.[2]

Mbonye ya riƙe muƙamin digiri na biyu a Jami'ar Michigan kuma Farfesa ne a Cibiyar Fasaha ta Rochester har zuwa shekara ta 2011. Ya kuma gudanar da bincike a Cibiyar Kula da Jirgin Sama ta NASA Goddard a Greenbelt, Maryland a matsayin Babban Mataimakin Bincike na Majalisar Bincike ta Ƙasa.

Mbonye ya ba da muhimmiyar gudummawa ga ilimin kimiyyar lissafi, gami da samfurin Mbonye-Kazanas na ramukan baƙar fata marasa guda ɗaya,[3] ilmin sararin samaniya tare da hulɗar makamashi mai duhu,[4] da samfura da asalin dangantakar M-sigma.[5]

A halin yanzu Mbonye shine mataimakin shugaban kula da harkokin ilimi a jami'ar kasa ta Rwanda, kuma Farfesa na RIT-NUR a Cibiyar Fasaha ta Rochester.
