Nimo Owelle, wanda aka fi sani da Nimo, babban gari ne a kudu maso gabashin Najeriya. Ya zuwa 2021, sarkin gargajiya na Nimo shine Igwe Maxi Ike Oliobi.[1]

Garin Nimo yana cikin ƙaramar hukumar Njikoka a jihar Anambra. Lambar gidan waya ta Nimo ita ce 421102.[2] Garin na makwabtaka da garuruwan; Enugwu Ukwu, Abagana, Neni, Eziowelle, Abatete, Oraukwu, Adazi, Nri, da Abacha.

Al’adun tarihin Igbo sun nuna cewa Owelle ya haifi ‘ya’ya maza huɗu, waɗanda ya haifa a gidansa da ke Owe. Sunan su, sune kamar haka; Nimo Owelle, Abagana, Abba, da Eziowelle. Nimo Owelle na da mata biyu. Matar farko ta haifi Okpaladinwe da Ojideleke; Matar ta biyu ta haifi Ezenebo da Okpalabani. Okpaladinwe da Ojideleke sun haifi Etiti Nimo da Egbengwu, bi da bi. Ezenebo da Okpalabani sun haifi Ifiteani da Ifite-enu, bi da bi. Al’adar ta nuna cewa waɗannan jikoki huɗu na Nimo Owelle (Etiti Nimo, Egbengwu, Ifiteani, Ifite-enu) da zuriyarsu sun mamaye garin da ake kira Nimo a yau.[3][4]

Nimo ta ƙunshi kashi huɗu (ko dangi) da ƙauyukansu. Kashi huɗun sune Eti Nimo, Egbengwu, Ifiteani, da Ifite-enu. Ya zuwa shekarar 2021 akwai ƙauyuka 45 a Nimo.[3]

Kowane babba baligi a garin Nimo ya cancanci shiga ƙungiyar ci gaban garin Nimo (NTDU), wacce a da ake kira Nimo Brotherhood Society (NBS).[3][4] Shugaban NTDU yana ƙarƙashin jagorancin Janar (PG). PG na yanzu shine Cif Agbalanze Ekenenna Okafor.[5] Ya maye gurbin marigayi Cif Frank Igboka,[6] tsohon shugaban ƙaramar hukumar Njikoka.

An san sarkin gargajiya na Nimo da sunan "Owelle na Nimo". Yana shugabantar majalisar ministocin da ta ƙunshi "Onowu na Nimo", da wasu mutane masu suna, da Ndi Ichie da ke wakiltar mabanbantan ƙauyukan garin Nimo.[3][4][7]

  • Oye Nimo: babbar kasuwar Nimo wacce ta kasance wurin kasuwanci da musanya ga kauyukan Nimo da garuruwan da ke kewaye tun shekaru aru-aru.
  • Cibiyar Asele: cibiyar al'adu wacce ta shahara saboda tarin tarin kayan tarihi na fasahar zamani da na zamani.[11]
