Ahwai, wanda kuma ake kira da Ndunic Languages (tsohon Nandu-Tari ), gungu ne na harshen Plateau da ake magana da shi a kudu maso yammacin Fadan Karshi a karamar hukumar Sanga, jihar Kaduna, Najeriya . Galibin kauyuka suna gindin tsaunin Ahwai a jihar Kaduna. [2]

Akwai yaruka guda uku masu fahimtar juna :

  • Ndun ( Nandu ), ana magana ne kawai zuwa kudu maso yammacin tsaunin Ahwai.
  • Nyeng ( Ningon ), ana magana ne kawai zuwa arewa maso yammacin tsaunin Ahwai. An fara rubutawa a cikin 2003. [3]
  • Shakara ( Tari ), ana magana ne kawai zuwa kudu maso gabas na tsaunin Ahwai.

Blench (2008) ya rarraba su a matsayin harsunan Ndunic daban-daban. Duk da haka, a wannan shekarar Ethnologue ya hade su a matsayin harshe guda.

Ahwai kalma ce da aka ayyana kanta da ake amfani da ita don nufin masu magana da duk harsunan Ndunic guda uku. [3]
