Bassek Ba Kobhio (an haife shi a shekara ta 1957) ɗan wasan fim ɗan Kamaru ne, marubuci[1] kuma wanda ya kafa bikin fim na Ecrans Noirs a Yaounde, Kamaru.[2] Har ila yau, shi ne Daraktan Babban Cibiyar Cinema da ƙwararrun Ma'aikatan Kayayyakin Watsa Labarai na Afirka ta Tsakiya (ISCAC) a Yaounde, cibiyar horar da manyan makarantu na farko don cinematography a yankin Afirka ta Tsakiya.[3]

An haifi Bassek Ba Kobhio a cikin shekarar 1957 a Ninje.[4] Ya fara ne a matsayin marubuci, inda ya lashe kyautar gajeriyar labari tun yana makarantar sakandare a shekarar 1976.

Fim ɗin farko na Kobhio, Sango Malo (1991) ya daidaita kansa da littafinsa na farko. Fim ɗin ya nuna wani sabon malamin makarantar ƙauye wanda rashin kula da al'adun gargajiya ya haifar da rikici da shugaban makarantar tare da kawo cikas ga rayuwar ƙauye. Fim ɗinsa na biyu, Le grand blanc de Lambaréné (1995), ya fitar da rikitattun halayen Albert Schweitzer. Duk da bayyananniyar bambance-bambance na saiti da batun batun, dukkan fina-finai biyu "sun ba da cikakkun hotuna na ƴan akidar da ke son yin nagarta, amma masu mulki ne, masu tsattsauran ra'ayi, da rashin jituwa da kewaye da su kuma suna sakaci ga matan su".[5]

A cikin shekarar 2003 ya yi aiki tare da Didier Ouénangaré akan Silence of the Forest, wani sabon labari na Étienne Goyémidé.[6]
