Christopher J. Tarihin Rayuwa
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]An haifi Chetsanga a Murewa, Zimbabwe a ranar 22 ga watan Agusta 1935,[5] kuma ya yi baftisma a shekarar 1948. A lokacin ƙuruciyarsa, ya yi karatu a Nhowe Mission, kuma ya ci gaba da karatu a Jami'ar California, Berkeley inda ya sami BSc a shekara ta 1965. Chetsanga kuma yayi karatu na wani lokaci a Jami'ar Pepperdine.[6] A cikin shekarar 1969, ya sami MSc da PhD a fannin ilimin sunadarai da ilimin halittu daga Jami'ar Toronto kafin ya zama post-doctoral fellow na biyu a Jami'ar Harvard tsakanin shekarun 1969 da 1972.[5] Tsakanin shekarun 1972 zuwa 1983 ya zama Farfesa a Jami'ar Michigan, sannan a shekara ta 1983 ya tafi ya zama babban malami a Biochemistry na Jami'ar Zimbabwe.[7] A cikin shekarar 1990, Shugaba Robert Mugabe ya ba shi lambar yabo ta shugaban ƙasa don ba da gudummawa mai mahimmanci ga kimiyya da fasaha.[5][8][9] An kuma ba shi lambar yabo ta Tauraron Zimbabwe.[10] A halin yanzu shi ne mataimakin shugaban jami'ar Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti.[11]

A cewar Chetsanga, binciken da ya mayar da hankali a cikin aikinsa na kimiyya ya kasance akan DNA da RNA tsarin da cikakkun bayanai na aiki kamar yadda suke da alaƙa da ƙwayar salula da ci gaban cuta.[14]
