Port Harcourt Birni ne, da ke a jihar Rivers, a kasar Najeriya. Shi ne babban birnin jihar Rivers. Port harcourt ita ce birni na biyar a girma, bayan Lagos, Kano, Ibadan da Kaduna.[1][2] Bisa ga kidayar jama'a a shekarar 2006, akwai kimanin mutane 1,382,592,[3] amma an hakayo cewa akwai kimanin mutane miliyan 1,865,000 ke zaune a babban birnin. Asali suna

A lokacin da shugaban Najeriya, Gwamna Sir Fedrick Lord Lugard ya sanya mata suna "Port Harcourt" don karramawa ga Lewis Vernon Harcourt sakataren Gwamnati na wannan yankunan mallakar turawa a lokacin.[7] Ma'anan kalmar a harshen Okrika ita ce Hakoti Kiri ko kuma Parakot. Tarihi
