Sheikh Hassan bin Mohamed bin Ali Al Thani (an haife shi a shekara ta 1960 a Doha) [1] [2] Wani fitaccen memba na gidan sarauta a kasar Qatar kuma jikan tsohon Sarkin Qatar babban ɗan wasan kwaikwayo ne a kasar Qatar, mai nazari da kuma bincike, kuma malami a fagen Fasahar zamani daga duniyar Larabawa, kasar Indiya, da kuma kasar Asiya. Tarin fasaharsa na dala biliyan yana daya daga cikin mafi mahimmanci kuma mai yawa a Gabas ta Tsakiya. Shi ne Mataimakin Shugaban Hukumar Gidajen Tarihi ta Qatar, Mai ba da shawara kan Harkokin Al'adu a Gidauniyar kasar Qatar kuma wanda ya kafa Mathaf: Gidan Tarihin Larabawa na zamani.[3][4][5]

A wannan lokacin, akwai ɗan bayani game da fasahar zamani ta Larabawa, kuma babu wata hukuma guda da aka keɓe ga fasahar zamani na Larabawa a duk yankin Gabas ta Tsakiya da Arewacin Afirka.[6] Daga nan sai ya yanke shawarar gina tarin kansa da fadada iliminsa game da fasahar zamani ta Larabawa ta hanyar tallafawa da inganta masu fasahar Larabawa.[7]
