Jami'ar Fasaha ta Mombasa (TUM) jami'a ce ta jama'a da ke cikin garin Mombasa da ke bakin teku . [1][2] Yana daga cikin tsofaffin ma'aikatar ilimi mafi girma a Kenya. Yana daya daga cikin National Polytechnics da aka ɗaukaka kwanan nan zuwa cikakken Jami'ar a Kenya. An ba shi takardar shaidarsa a shekarar 2013 ta shugaban kasar Mwai Kibaki.[3][4][5]

Tarihin TUM

TUM za a iya gano shi zuwa ƙarshen 1940s lokacin da Sir Philip Mitchell, Aga Khan III, Sultan na Zanzibar, da Sakataren Gwamnati na yankuna, Sir Bernard Reilly ya fara Cibiyar Ilimi ta Musulmi ta Mombasa (MIOME). Bayan da aka kafa shi, MIOME ya fara ba da ilimin fasaha ga ɗaliban Musulmai na Gabashin Afirka. A watan Mayu 1951, MIOME ta yi rajistar rukunin ɗalibai na farko don yin shirin ilimi na fasaha wanda ya ba da fifiko na musamman kan Injiniyan Injiniya, Injiniyan Lantarki, Jirgin Ruwa da Kewayawa, da Woodwork.

A cikin 1966 MIOME ta zama Cibiyar Fasaha ta Mombasa (MTI) kuma ta fara shigar da dukkan mutane daga wurare daban-daban na rayuwa ba tare da la'akari da addini ko launin fata ba.[18]

A cikin shekara ta 1976, MTI ya zama Mombasa Polytechnic . Mombasa Polytechnic ya ci gaba da bunkasa ƙarin shirye-shiryen da aka gudanar da kasuwa, wanda aka kafa a kan Sashen Nazarin Kasuwanci guda biyar, Injiniyan Lantarki da Injiniyan lantarki, Injiniya da Injiniya, Injiniyin Injiniya Da Kimiyya.[19]A ranar 23 ga watan Agustan shekara ta 2007, ta hanyar Sanarwar Shari'a an ɗaga Mombasa Polytechnic zuwa Kwalejin Jami'ar don haka sunan Kwalejin Kwalejin Mombasa (MPUC). [20]

A cikin 2013 bayan an ɗaukaka shi zuwa Kwalejin Jami'ar Mombasa Polytechnic (MPUC) ya zama Jami'ar Fasaha ta Mombasa (TUM). TUM ta bude makarantun tauraron dan adam guda biyu a Kwale da Lamu County.[21][22]
