Jami'ar Muteesa I Royal (MRU) jami'a ce mai zaman kanta a Uganda. Majalisar Kasa ta Uganda ta amince da ita a 2007 [1] kuma an hayar ta a watan Maris na 2024. [2] A cikin 2016, an sanya Mai Shari'a Julia Sebutinde a matsayin Shugaban Jami'ar, ya maye gurbin Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, shugaban da ya kafa wanda ya zama Baƙo na jami'ar.[3]

Babban harabar tana cikin garin Masaka, kimanin 135 kilometres (84 mi) kudu maso yammacin Kampala, babban birnin Uganda kuma birni mafi girma.[5] Kwalejin ta biyu tana kan Mengo Hill, wurin zama na Gwamnatin Buganda, a cikin birnin Kampala. Kwalejin ta uku tana cikin garin Mubende, kimanin 153 kilometres (95 mi) , ta hanyar hanya, yammacin Kampala.[6]

[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]An kafa MRU ne lokacin da aka sauya mallakar Cibiyar Fasaha ta Masaka (wanda aka fi sani da Kwalejin Fasaha ta Uganda, Masaka), daga Gwamnatin Uganda zuwa gwamnatin Buganda a watan Janairun 2007.
An sanya sunan MRU ne bayan Muteesa I na Buganda, tsohon Kabaka na Buganda a ƙarshen karni na 19. [7] MRU ta sami izinin Cibiyar Ilimi ta Sama daga Ma'aikatar Ilimi da Wasanni a watan Yulin 2007. [8] MRU ta shigar da ɗalibanta na farko a watan Oktoba na shekara ta 2007.[9] MRU ta gudanar da bikin kammala karatunta na farko a ranar Jumma'a 15 ga Afrilu, 2011. A wannan bikin, an sanya Ronald Muwenda Mutebi a matsayin Shugaba jami'ar na farko. [10]
