Laberiya kasa ce da ke gabar da tekun yammacin Afirka. Laberiya na nufin "Ƙasar 'Yanci" a harshen Latin.[1] Babban Bankin Laberiya ne ke da alhakin bugawa da kuma kula da dalar Laberiya, wanda shine ainihin nau'in kuɗi a Laberiya. Laberiya na daya daga cikin kasashen da suka fi talauci a duniya, inda ake samun aikin yi a hukumance da kashi 15%.[2] GDP na kowane mutum ya kai kololuwa a cikin shekarar 1980 akan dalar Amurka 496, lokacin da ya yi daidai da na Masar (a lokacin).[3] A shekarar 2011, yawan GDP na kasar ya kai dalar Amurka biliyan 1.154, yayin da adadin GDP na kowane mutum ya kai dalar Amurka 297, na uku mafi karanci a duniya.[4] A tarihance tattalin arzikin kasar Laberiya ya dogara kacokan kan taimakon kasashen waje da zuba jari kai tsaye da kuma fitar da albarkatun kasa kamar tama da tama da roba da katako zuwa ketare.[5]
