John Afolabi Fabiyi, CON (an haife shi 25 Nuwamba 1945) ya kasance masanin shari'a ne na Najeriya kuma tsohon alkalin kotun kolin Najeriya. Ya taba zama Alkalin kotun daukaka kara ta Najeriya.[1][2][3]

An haifi Mai shari’a Fabiyi ne a ranar 25 ga watan Nuwamba, 1945 a Jihar Kogi, a Arewa ta Tsakiyar Najeriya. A shekarar 1969, ya samu digirin farko a fannin shari’a daga Jami’ar Ahmadu Bello, kuma ya kasance Call to Bar a shekarar 1970 bayan ya kammala makarantar koyon aikin lauya ta Najeriya[4].

Ya fara aiki ne a Noel Gery & Co, wani kamfanin lauyoyi da ke jihar Kano kafin ya koma sashin shari’a na jihar Kwara a matsayin majistare, ya kuma kai matsayin alkalin babbar kotu a jihar. A shekarar 1994 aka mayar da shi jihar Anambra inda ya zama shugaban kotun sauraron kararrakin zabe na tsawon shekaru hudu. A shekarar 1998 aka nada shi a benci na kotunan daukaka kara ta Najeriya a matsayin Justice sannan a shekarar 2006 ya zama alkalin kotun daukaka kara da ke Ibadan. Ya yi wannan aiki na tsawon shekaru uku kafin a nada shi kujerar Kotun Koli ta Najeriya a shekarar 2009 a matsayin Mai shari’a, a shekarar ya samu lambar yabo ta kasa, Kwamandan oda na Nijar, wanda gwamnatin tarayyar Najeriya ta ba shi. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Shugaban Tarayyar Najeriya ya yi masa ado.[5] Fabiyi ya jagoranci hukuncin kotun koli inda aka sallami Cif Bode George tare da wanke shi daga tuhumar zamba da hukumar yaki da masu yi wa tattalin arzikin kasa zagon kasa ta yi masa.[6] Ya kuma jagoranci hukuncin kotun koli da ta tabbatar da Ayodele Fayose a matsayin zababben gwamnan jihar Ekiti a zaben gwamna da aka yi a ranar 21 ga watan Yunin 2014[7].

Ya yi ritaya daga kotu a ranar 25 ga Nuwamba 2015 bayan ya cika shekaru 70 na wajibi.[8]
