Kasuwar Idumota kasuwa ce da ke tsibirin Legas, wani yanki mai nisa a ƙaramar hukumar jihar Legas.[1] tana ɗaya daga cikin kasuwanni mafi daɗewa kuma an ce tana ɗaya daga cikin manyan kasuwanni a yammacin Afirka kuma dubban masu kulle-kulle suna zaune a gine-gine daban-daban a cikin kasuwar ta haɗa da Kasuwar[2] Alaba wadda ita ce babbar cibiyar rarraba bidiyo da kaɗe-kaɗe ta gida a jihar Legas, kuma daya daga cikin mafi girma a Najeriya.[1]

Kasuwar Idumota ta shahara sosai ta zama kasuwa mafi girma ana yin ciniki da karfe 7 na safe. Kasuwar tana da manyan gine-gine masu tsayi da yawa kuma wasu suna zama har zuwa 5 ko fiye.

A shekarar 2010, gwamnatin jihar Legas ta rusa wasu haramtattun gine-gine domin inganta zirga-zirgar ababen hawa da na mutane a cikin kasuwar da kewaye.

A ranakun mako, unguwar Idumota na cike da cunkoson jama’a, ‘yan kasuwa da fasinjojin bas.[3] Tun daga gadar Carter, zuwa tsibirin Legas, matafiya za su iya ganin unguwar kafin su hau inda za su tashi.

Idumota ta kasance wurin tunawa da sojoji, mai suna Soja Idumota, wanda kuma aka gina a matsayin abin tunawa ga sojojin Najeriya da ke aiki a rundunar sojojin Afirka ta Yamma.[4] Mutum-mutumin Eyo da Hasumiyar agogo shima wasu abubuwan tarihi ne a Idumota.[5]
