Kida da raye-rayen Dagbani al'ada ce ta Dagbamba na Yammacin Afirka. Dagbamba suna magana da yaren Dagbanli. Su ne kabila mafi rinjaye a masarautar Dagbon da aka samu a yankin Arewacin Ghana.[1] Kida da raye-raye suna taka muhimmiyar rawa a cikin Dagbon. Ta hanyar wadannan fasahohin ne Dagbamba suka adana tarihinsu tsawon shekaru aru-aru. Dagbamba suna ɗaukar rawa a matsayin nau'in furuci na motsin rai, hulɗar zamantakewa, wasan kwaikwayo na ruhaniya ko ma motsa jiki wanda ke taimaka musu wajen bayyana ko kwatanta ra'ayoyi ko ba da labari. A mafi yawan lokuta, kiɗa a Dagbon yana tare da rawa don samar da cikakken labari.

Waƙar Dagbani an fi saninta da ƙaƙƙarfan al'adar buga ganguna, musamman ta amfani da huhu da gungon.

Dagbamba sun rungumi kade-kade na zamani, duk da cewa kida da raye-rayen gargajiya na iya zama shaida a majami'u na yau da kullun da kuma a Jami'o'in duniya. A cikin gida, ya zama mafi sauƙi don jin kiɗan Dagbanli a cikin nau'ikan da ba na gargajiya ba kamar Reggae, Hip hop, Hiplife ko kiɗan Islama. A lokuta da ba kasafai ake hada wakokin Dagbanli na gargajiya ba tare da abubuwa na gargajiya irin su kidan.

Mawakan zamani da suka yi a Dagbanli sun hada da Sherifa Gunu, R2bees, Sherif Ghaale, da Awal Alhassan.

Jerin wasan raye-rayen Just Dance yana fasalta waƙar "Dagomba" a cikin wasanninsu. Bokanci ne ya yi waƙar, waƙar tana misalta kidan mutanen Dagomba.
