Kobina Bucknor (1925-1975)[1] masanin kimiyyar[2] dabbobi ne ɗan ƙasar Ghana kuma mai zane/fenti.[1]

An haife shi a shekara ta 1925 a Gold Coast, yanzu Ghana. Ya halarci Kwalejin St. Augustine da ke Cape Coast a matakinsa na sakandare da Kwalejin Jami'ar Gold Coast, yanzu Jami'ar Ghana inda ya sami digiri na farko a fannin ilimin dabbobi.[3][1] A shekarar 1965, ya sami digiri na uku daga Jami'ar Cornell.[1]

Bayan karatunsa, ya shiga cikin ma'aikatan Kwalejin Kimiyya ta Ghana. Daga baya ya tafi Jami'ar Cornell bayan ya dawo aiki da Cibiyar Nazarin Dabbobi da ke Ghana, kuma a nan ya riƙe muƙamin darakta.[1]

Ya gudanar da baje kolinsa na farko a Accra a shekarar 1966.[1] Ya yi aiki a matsayin ƙwararren masanin kimiyyar bincike a fannin ilmin halitta.[4] Ya kuma yi aiki a daraktocin hukumar kula da fasaha ta Ghana a matsayin shugaba.[1]

Bucknor ya yi amfani da wani salo mai suna "sculptural idiom" a cikin zane-zanensa wanda ke nuna rayuwa da al'adu a Ghana.[5] Wannan salon, in ji shi, ya samo asali ne daga sassaken katako na Afirka.[5] Don bayyana salon sa, Bucknor ya ce yana ɗaukar abubuwan ɓoye na sigar sassaƙa, keɓe ainihin ilhamar sassaƙa, narkar da abin da wahayin ya gabatar kuma ya canza shi zuwa maganganun ƙirƙira na mutum ɗaya.
