Oby Onyioha, Mawakiya ce ta Najeriya da ta yi suna a lokacin da ta fara fitowa a karon farko mai suna "I Want to Feel Your Love", wanda ya yi nasara sosai a shekarun 1980 a Najeriya.

Shekaru bayan fitowar ta na farko da kuma dogon hutu, Onyioha ta sanar da komawa fagen waka da shirin fitar da albam din ta na 3, 'Break-It' shine na biyu.

An haifi Oby a Legas kuma ta girma a gabashin Najeriya. Mahaifinta shine KOK Onyioha Shugaban Addinin Godiya . Onyioha ta fara karatun ta ne a makarantar firamare ta St Stephens da ke Umuahia a jihar Abia inda daga nan ta tafi makarantar Queen’s Enugu domin yin karatun sakandire. Ta ci gaba da samun digiri na BA, B.sc a cikin Tarihi da Gudanar da Kasuwanci bi da bi, ta kuma sami digiri na biyu da digiri na uku a fannin ilimin halayyar dan adam.[1]

Onyioha ta fara shiga fagen wakokin Najeriya ne a shekarar 1981 tare da fitar da albam din ta na farko I Want to Feel Your Love wanda aka sanyawa sunanta bayan gagarumar nasarar da ta samu mai irin wannan take. Wakar, "Ina son jin soyayyar ku" ana daukarta a matsayin daya daga cikin manyan wakokin zamaninta a Najeriya.[2] Ita ce mai fasaha ta farko da ta shiga Time Communication Limited.
