Jami'ar Media, Arts da Sadarwa- Cibiyar Jarida (UniMAC-IJ), tsohuwar Cibiyar Jaridar Ghana (GIJ), jami'a ce ta jama'a a Ghana . [1] Jami'ar ta haɗu da tsohuwar Cibiyar Jarida ta Ghana, Cibiyar Fim da Talabijin ta Kasa, da aka kafa da Cibiyar Harsuna ta Ghana .cibiyar ta sami amincewar Hukumar Kula da Kasa.[2]

An kafa Cibiyar Jarida ta Ghana a ranar 16 ga Oktoba 1959 ta Kwame Nkrumah, shugaban farko na Ghana. An kira makarantar a hukumance Makarantar Jarida, kuma sashen ne a Cibiyar Fasaha ta Accra (yanzu Jami'ar Fasaha ta Acra). Babban malamin jarida na farko shi ne Richard McMillan . [1] An sanya wa ɗakin karatu na jami'ar suna don girmama shi.[3]

Makarantar ta zama Cibiyar Jarida ta Ghana a shekara ta 1974. [1][4] Makarantar ta sami takardar shaidarta ta shugaban kasa da ta kafa ta a matsayin jami'a a shekara ta 2009.[5]

Gudanar da jami'ar an lakafta shi a matsayin 'marasa damuwa' ga wahalar da cutar ta COVID-19 ta haifar, bayan makarantar ta kara kudaden masu amfani da kayan aikinta na shekarar ilimi ta 2020/21. Ya haifar da zanga-zanga a kan kafofin sada zumunta kuma daga baya aka sauya shawarar.

Gudanar da ma'aikatar ta nemi daliban da suka biya kudaden su da wuri su jinkirta karatun su na shekara ta ilimi. Daliban sun nuna rashin amincewa kuma sun zargi gudanarwa da 'marasa adalci' da 'maras tausayi' saboda ba su san sakamakon ba.[13] An hana wasu dalibai shiga makarantun biyu na ma'aikatar.[14] Gudanarwa daga baya ta ba da damar ɗalibai su yi rajista don jarrabawarsu ta ƙarshen semester.[15]
