Badu Bonsu II jagora ne na Ahanta kuma sarkin Ghana wanda Holanda ya kashe a shekara ta 1838, wanda a lokacin, ke iko da Tekun Gold na Dutch.[1]

A shekara ta 1837, Badu Bonsu na biyu ya yi tawaye ga gwamnatin Holland, ya kuma kashe jami’ai da dama, ciki har da mukaddashin gwamna Hendrik Tonneboeijer. Gwamnatin Holan ta yi amfani da Yarjejeniyar Butre a matsayin ginshikin aikin soji a kan Badu Bonsu kuma an aika da rundunar bincike zuwa Ahanta. A yakin da ya biyo baya, an kama sarkin, aka yanke masa hukuncin kisa, aka rataye shi. Mutanen Holland sun tarwatsa jihar Ahanta, inda suka nada kwamandan su na Sansanin Batenstein a Butre a matsayin mai rike da madafun iko, tare da sa kasar ta kasance karkashin iko tare da fadada sojoji da farar hula.[2] Bayan kisan sarki Badu Bonsu, an lalata jikinsa yayin da wani likitan tiyata dan kasar Holland ya cire kansa. An kai shugaban zuwa Netherlands, inda nan da nan ya ɓace fiye da ƙarni.[2]
