An haifi Obaseki a ranar 19 ga watan Maris 1986 a garin Benin, ƙaramar hukumar Oredo, jihar Edo inda ta girma. Ita ce auta a cikin yara bakwai.[2][3]

Obaseki ta auri Arnold Mozia a birnin Benin a ranar 21 ga watan Satumba 2013 bayan ta haifi ɗanta na farko shekara guda kafin ranar 31 ga watan Agusta 2012. Ta haifi ɗa na biyu a ranar 1 ga watan Janairu 2015.[4][5][6]

Obaseki ta taso ne a garin Benin, inda ta yi karatun Firamare da Sakandare. Ta bar karatun Turanci a Jami'ar Benin don ta mayar da hankali kan aikinta na wasan kwaikwayo.[7]

Obaseki ta fara wasan kwaikwayo ne a shekara ta 2007 amma an fi saninta da rawar da ta taka a wasan soap opera na Tinsel, inda take wasa da Angela Dede.[8] Kafin Tinsel, ta taka rawa a matsayin kuyanga a cikin shirin TV na Amurka, wanda ya bayyana a cikin sassa uku.[9] Fim ɗinta na farko shine fim ɗin 2014, A Place in the Stars, inda ta yi aiki tare da Gideon Okeke da Segun Arinze. Ita ma tana cikin fim ɗin samun kan Shi tare da Majid Michel.[10]
