A shekarar 2009, ya sami lambar yabo ta Nandi ta Jihar Andhra Pradesh wato Nandi Award for Best Villain da Kyautar Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor- Telugu saboda fim ɗin sa mai farin jini na harshen Telugu mai suna Arundhati . A 2001, ya fito a Majunu . Sannan ya kara fitowa a fina-finan Hindi, tare da Shaheed-E-Azam, a matsayin Bhagat Singh a 2002. Sood ya sake samun sanayya bayan fitowar sa a matsayin ɗan'uwan Abhishek Bachchan a cikin shirin Mani Ratnam na Yuva a 2004 da Aashiq Banaya Aapne a 2005.
