Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo ɗan siyasan Ghana ne. Shi ne dan majalisar wakilai mai wakiltar mazabar Wa ta tsakiya a yankin Upper West na Ghana a halin yanzu.[1][2]

An haife shi a ranar 5 ga Mayu 1964 kuma ya fito daga Wa a yankin Upper West na Ghana. Ya samu shaidar kammala karatunsa na Sakandare a shekarar 1976. Ya kuma yi karatunsa na matakin O a shekarar 1983 da kuma matakin A a shekarar 1986. Ya kuma yi Diploma a fannin tattalin arziki a shekarar 1994 sannan ya kara samun digiri a fannin ilimin halayyar dan adam a shekarar 1994. Ya kuma yi digiri na biyu a fannin harkokin kasa da kasa a shekarar 1998. Ya yi digirin digirgir a fannin ci gaban manufofin ci gaba a Jami’ar Ghana, Nazarin Afirka a 2013.[3]

Ya kasance mai ba da shawara ga Cibiyar Madadin Siyasa. Ya kuma kasance mataimakin kodinetan kudi na majalisar matasa ta kasa sannan kuma ya zama darakta na wannan cibiyar sannan ya kara zama Ag. Yanki na wannan ma'aikata.[3]

Ya shiga majalisar dokokin Ghana ne a shekara ta 2005 bayan ya lashe tikitin takarar jam'iyyar National Democratic Congress a zaben 'yan majalisar dokokin Ghana a watan Disambar 2004.

Pelpuo ya kasance karamin minista a ofishin shugaban kasa lokacin da shugaba John Atta Mills ya nada shi ministan matasa da wasanni a watan Satumban 2009 bayan murabus din Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak wanda shi ma dan majalisar wakilai ne na Asawase.[4][5] Ya yi aiki a wannan mukamin har zuwa lokacin da aka yi wa majalisar ministoci garambawul a watan Janairun 2010.[6] An maye gurbinsa da ministar wasanni mata ta farko a Ghana, Akua Dansua sannan aka nada shi mataimakin shugaban masu rinjaye a majalisar. An kuma zabe shi daya daga cikin 'yan majalisar dokokin Afirka biyar na Ghana a Afirka ta Kudu inda ya yi wa'adi har zuwa shekara ta 2013.[7] A gwamnatin John Mahama (2012 - 2016) an nada shi karamin minista a ofishin shugaban kasa mai kula da ci gaban kamfanoni masu zaman kansu da hadin gwiwar kamfanoni masu zaman kansu (PPP). Ya kuma kasance memba na Kungiyar Gudanar da Tattalin Arziki (EMT). A shekarar 2016 ya sake lashe kujerarsa a karo na hudu na tsawon shekaru hudu a matsayin dan majalisar wakilai mai wakiltar mazabar Wa ta tsakiya. An zabe shi shugaban kwamitin mafi girma a majalisar dokokin Ghana, kungiyar jama'a da ci gaban jama'a da kuma jagoran 'yan majalisar dokokin duniya, reshen Ghana. Ya kuma rike mukamin mamba na kwamitin tabbatar da gwamnati, muhimmin kwamitin da ke sa ido da kuma rike Ministocin gwamnati kan ayyukan da suka yi wa al’umma da kuma rashin bin wadannan alkawurran. Hon Pelpuo ya kuma tsaya takara a zaben 2020 na 'yan majalisa da na shugaban kasa kuma ya yi nasara a karo na biyar na shekaru 4 a matsayin dan majalisa mai wakiltar Wa Central. An zabe shi a matsayin shugaban kungiyar jama'a da raya kasa na karo na uku kuma memba na kwamitin filaye. Shi ma memba ne na Kwamitin Makamashi da Kasuwanci. Duba rahoton kwamitin majalisar wakilai na 2021 kan zabe.

An zabi Pelpuo a matsayin dan majalisar dokokin mazabar Wa ta tsakiya a babban zaben kasar Ghana na shekara ta 2004.[8][9] Don haka ya wakilci mazabar a majalisa ta 4 a jamhuriya ta 4 ta Ghana.[10] An zabe shi da kuri'u 21,272 daga cikin jimillar kuri'u 41,501 da aka kada. Wannan yayi daidai da kashi 51.3% na jimlar ingantattun ƙuri'un da aka jefa.[8][9] An zabe shi a kan Mornah Anbataayela Bernard na People's National Convention, Mohammed Adama Kpegla na New Patriotic Party, Abu Mumuni na Jam'iyyar Convention People's Party, Osman Mohammed na Jam'iyyar Democratic People's Party da Osman Imam Sidik dan takara mai zaman kansa.[8][9] Wadanda suka samu kuri'u 12,280, kuri'u 7,249, kuri'u 376, kuri'u 172 da kuri'u 152 bi da bi cikin jimillar kuri'un da aka kada. Waɗannan sun yi daidai da 29.6%, 17.5%, 0.9%,0.4% and 0.4% bi da bi na jimlar ingantattun ƙuri'un da aka jefa.[8][9] An zabi Pelpuo akan tikitin jam'iyyar National Democratic Congress.[8][9][10] A dukkan jam'iyyar National Democratic Congress ta samu 'yan tsiraru da yawansu ya kai 94 daga cikin kujeru 230 na majalisar dokoki ta 4 a jamhuriya ta 4 ta Ghana.[11]

Shi mamba ne a kwamitin filaye da gandun daji. Shi ma memba ne a kwamitin ma'adinai da makamashi sannan kuma memba ne a kwamitin kasuwanci.[3]
