Asim Basu ɗan wasan kwaikwayo ne na kasar Indiya kuma darakta, ɗan wasa, daraktan fasaha, mai zane kuma marubucin wasan kwaikwayo.[1] Basu ya shahara da aikin tsarawa da ya yi a fina-finan BOllywood da tsara bangon littafin Odia da fosta na fim. [2]

Lokacin da Basu ya kasance a Kolkata, a lokacin karatunsa na kwaleji, ya sami damar yin aiki tare da ɗan wasan kwaikwayo Utpal Dutt a gidan wasan kwaikwayo na Minerva, Kolkata kuma basirarsa ta bunƙasa wajen yin wasan kwaikwayo, jagora da tsarawa a can. Ya dawo Odisha kuma ya kafa kungiyar wasan kwaikwayo "Rupakar".[3]ta
Sana'a

Ya yi aiki a matsayin mai tsarawa na wasanni sama da 500 kuma shine darektan fasaha na fina-finan Odia da yawa. Ya kasance daraktan fasaha a fina-finai kamar Chha Mana Atha Guntha, Indradhanura Chhai da Shodh (Hindi). Ya kuma yi fitowa a cikin fina-finai da film na Tele da yawa kamar Chha Mana Atha Guntha, Jaga Balia da Dadagiri.
