Chris Nwabueze Ngige an haife shi a ranar 8 ga watan Agusta shekarar 1952. Shine Ministan kwadago da samar da ayyukan yi Najeriya, wanda aka naɗa don yin wa'adi biyu a karkashin gwamnatin Shugaba Muhammadu Buhari.[1][2][3][4] An zaɓe shi dan majalisar dattawa mai wakiltar mazabar Anambra ta tsakiya a watan Afrilun 2011.[5] Ya yi gwamnan jihar Anambara a Najeriya daga watan Mayu 2003 zuwa watan Maris 2006 a karkashin Jam’iyyar PDP.[6] Chris Ngige a yanzu haka dan jam’iyyar All Progressives Congress (APC) ne.[7][8]

Ngige likita ne ta hanyar sana'a, Ngige ya kammala karatu daga Jami'ar Nijeriya-Nsukka a shekarar 1979.[9][10] Nan da nan Chris ya shiga aikin farar hula, yana aiki a Majalisar Dokoki ta ƙasa da kuma dakunan shan magani na gidan gwamnati a lokuta daban-daban. Ya yi ritaya a shekarar 1998 a matsayin mataimakin darakta a Ma’aikatar lafiya ta tarayya.[11]

Dokta Chris Nwabueze Ngige ya shiga siyasa, inda ya zama memba na Jam’iyyar PDP.[12][13] A shekarar 1999, ya kasance Mataimakin Sakatare na Ƙasa da Sakataren Zonal na Jam'iyyar PDP a shiyyar Kudu maso Gabashin Najeriya.[14]

A watan Afrilun 2011, Ngige ya tsaya takarar sanata mai wakiltar Anambra ta Tsakiya, a dandalin Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).[25] Bayan matsalolin jefa kuri’a a wasu yankuna na mazabar a ranar 9 ga Afrilu, an gudanar da zaben a wadannan yankuna a ranar 25 ga Afrilu kuma an bayyana Ngige a matsayin wanda ya lashe tsohuwar Ministan Yada Labarai da Sadarwa Farfesa Dora Akunyili na APGA, da kuri’u 69,765 yayin da Akunyili ya samu 69,292.[26]

A ranar 11 November 2015 ne, shugaban kasa Muhammadu Buhari ya nada Ngige matsayin Ministan Kwadago da Aiki na Najeriya.[27]

Ngige na zaman sanata a tarayyar Najeriya ya zo karshe biyo bayan faduwarsa a zaben 2015 da Hon. Misis Uche Ekwunife wacce aka rantsar a matsayin sanata mai wakiltar yankin sanata mai wakiltar Anambra ta tsakiya a majalisar dokokin Najeriya ta 8 a halin yanzu.

A ranar 11 ga Nuwamba, 2015, Shugaba Muhammadu Buhari ya nada Ngige ministan kwadago da samar da ayyukan yi.[28] A shekarar 2019, Shugaban Kasa Muhammadu Buhari ya zabi Chris Ngige a matsayin Ministan wada za'a tantance a Majalisar.[29]

A ranar 19 April 2022 ne, Nigige ya nuna ra'ayinsa na fitowa takarar kujerar shugabancin Najeriya a karkashin jam'iyyar APC. Kwararren dan siyasan wanda ya rike mukamin gwamna na Jihar Anambra, Sanata kuma Minista, ya bayyan kanshi a matsayin "jack of all trade and masters of all".[30]
