Douye Diri (An haifeshi ranar 4 ga watan Yuni, 1959). Ɗan siyasa ne, kuma shine gwamnan jihar Bayelsa mai ci a yanzu.[1][2] Ya kasance sanata mai wakiltar Bayelsa ta tsakiya a jihar Bayelsa a majalisar dokokin Najeriya ta 9.[3][4]

Douye Diri ya fara karatunsa na farko a makarantar firamare ta Okoro, Sampou, kuma ya kammala a Rev. Proctor Memorial Primary School, Kaiama a shekarar 1977, inda ya samu shaidar kammala karatunsa na farko.[ana buƙatar hujja] Douye ya yi karatu a kwalejin ilimi da ke birnin Port-Harcourt ta jihar Rivers inda ya samu takardar shedar ilimi ta kasa (NCE) a shekarar 1985. A ranar 13 ga watan Fabrairun shekarar 2020 ne kotun ƙolin Najeriya ta soke sakamakon zaɓen gwamnan jihar Bayelsa na 2019 bisa hujjar cewa abokin takarar wanda ya lashe zaɓen, David Lyon, ya miƙa takardar shaidar sirri ga hukumar zaɓe mai zaman kanta.[5] Kotun ta umarci a ba Diri takardar shaidar cin zaɓe, wanda zai sa shi zama zaɓaɓɓen gwamna.[6]

A ranar 14 ga Fabrairu 2020 aka rantsar da shi a matsayin gwamnan jihar Bayelsa.[7]

A ranar 17 ga watan Agustan shekarar 2020, wata kotu a Abuja, Najeriya, ta ba da Umar in tsige Diri daga muƙamin gwamnan jihar.[8] Sai dai a ranar 2 ga Oktoba, 2020, wata kotun ɗaukaka kara da ke zamanta a Abuja ta yi watsi da hukuncin wancen kotun tare da tabbatar da shi a matsayin Gwamna.[9][10]

Hayaniya a filin jirgin sama

A watan Agustan 2021, an ba da rahoton cewa Diri da mukarrabansa sun yi tir akan hanyarsu da suka isa dai-dai shingayen bincike na jami’an tsaro a filin jirgin sama na Murtala Muhammed, yayin da suke ƙoƙarin shiga jirgin United Nigeria Airlines na farko daga Legas zuwa Yenagoa.[11]
