Samuel Onyeka Obi (ya mutu a ranar 3 ga watan Afrilun shekarar 2021) ɗan siyasan Najeriya ne kuma fasto. Ya kasance kakakin majalisar dokokin jihar Delta kuma tsohon mukaddashin gwamnan jihar Delta daga shekarata 2010 zuwa 2011. Ya zuwa rasuwarsa, ya kasance babban mai kula da cocin Oracle of God Ministry, Asaba, Jihar Delta.

Aiki da Siyasa

Obi ya fara siyasarsa a matsayin kansila, kafin ya zama shugaban karamar hukuma a jihar Delta. A lokacin wa'adin farko na tsohon gwamnan jihar Delta James Ibori, ya yi aiki a matsayin shugaban kwamitin gudanarwa na jaridar The Pointer Newspaper wacce mallakar gwamnatin jihar Delta ce.[1][2] A shekarar 2003, ya tsaya takara kuma ya sami kujera a majalisar dokokin jihar Delta, mai wakiltar Ika ta Arewa maso Gabas kuma ya yi wa’adi uku wanda ya kare a 2015.[3] A ranar 29 ga Yulin 2010, an zabe shi a matsayin kakakin majalisa na 10 na majalisar dokokin jihar Delta don maye gurbin kakaki na 9 Martin Okonta mai wakiltar mazabar Ika ta Kudu wanda Kotun ɗaukaka kara ta cire shi a ranar 12 ga watan Mayu na shekarar 2010.[4][5]

A ranar 10 ga Nuwamba, 2010, ya zama gwamnan jihar Delta na riko bayan kotun ɗaukaka kara ta Benin ta soke zaɓen gwamnan jihar Delta na 2007 wanda ya haifar da gwamnan jihar Emmanuel Uduaghan. Kotun ɗaukaka ƙara, Benin ta soke zaɓen ranar 9 ga Nuwamba, 2010 kuma ta ba da umarnin sake zaɓe cikin kwanaki 90.[6] A ranar 10 ga Janairu 2011, Obi ya mika wa Emmanuel Uduaghan bayan ya lashe zaben fidda gwani da aka gudanar a ranar 6 ga Janairu 2011.[7][8][9][10] A ranar 7 ga watan Yunin 2011, aka maye gurbinsa da Victor Ochei mai wakiltar mazabar Aniocha ta Arewa a matsayin kakakin majalisar dokokin jihar Delta na 11 bayan ya zaɓe shi ya maye gurbinsa.[11] Ya yi aiki a matsayin mai ba da shawara na musamman a wa'adin farko na gwamnan jihar Delta Ifeanyi Okowa kuma ya bar shi a shekarar 2019.[12]

Daga baya a rayuwarsa, ya kafa Cocin Oracle of God Ministries Church, Asaba inda ya kasance babban mai kula har mutuwarsa.[13][14]

Obi ya fito ne daga yankin Ibiegwa, Ute-Okpu, Ika North East, Delta, Nigeria. Ya kasance ɗan sarauta kuma jinin gidan masarautar Ute-Okpu. Babban wansa, HRM Obi Solomon Chukwuka I ne Obi na yanzu na masarautar Ute-Okpu.[15]

Obi ya mutu a ranar 3 ga Afrilun 2021 a gidansa da ke Asaba, jihar Delta, Najeriya bayan gajeriyar rashin lafiya.[16]
