Wazobia kalma ce da ke nufin "zo" a cikin manyan harsunan Najeriya guda uku: Yoruba ( wa ), Hausa ( zo ), da Igbo ( bia ).[1] Yawancin lokuta ana amfani da kalmar azaman alamar haɗin kai, bambance-bambance, da haɗa kai a Najeriya, ƙasar da ke da ƙabilu da harsuna sama da 250. [1] Ana kuma amfani da kalmar a matsayin suna ga wasu ƙafofin watsa labarai daban-daban, abubuwan al'adu, da kuma ma ƙungiyoyin zamantakewa a Najeriya.
Asali
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Kalmar Wa-zo-bia ta samo asali ne ta hanyar haɗa kalmomin; wa, zo, da bia, waɗanda duk suna nufin "zo" a cikin Yarbanci, Hausa, da Igbo.[2] Waɗannan su ne ƙabilu da harsuna uku mafi girma a Najeriya, wanda ke da kusan kashi 60% na yawan jama'ar ƙasar.[1] Masu watsa shirye-shiryen rediyon Najeriya ne suka fara amfani da kalmar a shekarun 1970 don jan hankalin masu saurare daga yankuna da wurare daban-daban.[2] Daga baya ya shahara a kafafen yaɗa labarai daban-daban, kamar Wazobia FM, Wazobia TV, da Mujallar Wazobia.[1]
Amfani

Ana kuma amfani da Wazobia a matsayin suna ga kafofin watsa labarai daban-daban, al'adu, da kuma ƙungiyoyin jama'a a Najeriya da ke da nufin isa ga jama'a masu sauraro da kuma magance batutuwa daban-daban da suka shafi ƙasar. Wasu misalan su ne Wazobia FM, gidan rediyon da ke watsa shirye-shiryensa da harshen Turanci na Pidgin, Wazobia TV, gidan talabijin da ke watsa shirye-shiryen da harshen Turancin Pidgin.[4]
