Ƴan daudu kalma ce da ake amfani da ita wajen yin nuni ga mazaje masu nuna dabi’un mata a cikin harshen Hausa . Wadannan mazaje a wannan zamani na kasar Hausa ana kallonsu a matsayin mazaje masu sha’awar jima’i ko mu’amala da wasu mazan. A cikin tatsuniyar Hausa Fulani, Yan daudu suna da sifofin mata da ke da alaƙa da aikin canza sheka ko jinsi na uku, kuma an san su suna shiga ayyukan Maguzanci kamar addinin Bori na Maguzanci da ake samu a jihar Kano ta Najeriya a yau . Dan Galadima
A tatsuniyar Hausa, ana danganta Dan Galadima da ganyaye masu dadi, masu kamshi. Al’adar ‘yan daudu a zamanin jahiliyya ba lallai ba ne a kwatanta su da luwadi, domin da yawa daga cikinsu ana ganin sun aurar da mata suna haifan ‘ya’ya, amma sana’a ce ta zamantakewa. Yayin da lokaci ya ci gaba, sai aka fara ganin kamar wata matsala ce ga maza da su yi ado kamar mata.
