Ƙosai dai wani nau’in ne na abinci da ake amfani da shi a gargajiyan ce. Kuma ana yin shi ne da wake ta hanyar jika waken, sai a surfa shi, Bayan an surfa shi, sai a wanke asa tarugu Da albasa a kai a nika shi. Bayan kuma an nika sai asa sunadaran dandano a buga shi. Sannan sai a dinga soya shi da mai sai a ci.[1][2][3]

Kuma akan ci shi da koko ko kunun tsamiya. Sannan haka nan ma ana iya cin shi. Mafi akasarin Hausawa da koko da kosai suke yin karin kumallo. Saboda Bahaushe bai cika son abinci mai nauyi ba, musamman da safe, shi ya sa yake son koko da  kosai. [4][5]

Kosai dai wani abinci ne wanda ake yin sa daga kullun wake, sannan kuma aka soya shi a cikin kasko haɗe da mai. Yayinda koko daɗaɗɗen abinci ne, kuma tsohon abincin gargajiya ne na Hausa wanda aka yi shi da gero da masara da kuma dawa, ana kara wasu kayan hadin da sukan kara masa dadi.
