Akinwole Michael Omoboriowo (An Haife shi ne a ranar 12 ga watan Janairun shekarar 1932 - 10 Afrilu 2012[1] ) ya kasance lauyan Najeriya kuma ɗan siyasa wanda ya kasance Mataimakin Gwamnan Jihar Ondo, daga baya ya canza jam’iyyu ya tsaya takarar gwamna a 1983 a Jihar Ondo a lokacin Jamhuriya ta Biyu ta Najeriya . Da farko an ayyana shi a matsayin wanda ya yi nasara amma an yi jayayya kuma daga baya kotun daukaka ƙara ta soke shi kafin ya fara aiki.[2]

An zaɓi Omoboriowo a matsayin mataimakin gwamna a dandalin Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), tare da Michael Adekunle Ajasin, wanda ya zama gwamna.[2] Ya yi ikirarin cewa ya kamata ya zama ɗan takarar gwamna na UPN, tunda ya sami kuri'u da Ajasin ya samu a zaben fidda gwani, amma shugabannin UPN sun yi magudi a sakamakon.[3] A lokacin da yake mataimakin gwamna, ya yi sabani da Gwamna Ajasin, wanda ya ki rantsar da shi a matsayin mukaddashin gwamna lokacin da Ajasin ba ya jihar.[4]

Omoboriowo ya sauya sheka zuwa Jam’iyyar National Party of Nigeria (NPN) inda ya fafata da tsohon maigidansa a zaɓen 1983. Wannan ya biyo bayan kin amincewa da ficewa daga takarar kujerar gwamna kamar yadda ake zargin a baya tsakanin Omoboriowo da Ajasin. Omoboriowo da wasu jiga -jigan jam'iyyar da suka haɗa da Cif SA Akerele na kin jinin jama'a, sun tafi NPN mai mulki a ƙarƙashin sa ya yi takarar kujerar gwamna. Lokacin da hukumar zaɓe ta tarayya ta ayyana Omoboriowo a matsayin wanda ya yi nasara a ranar 16 ga watan Agusta 1983, sanarwar ta haifar da tarzoma mai kisa. A tsakiyar rikicin siyasa, Omoboriowo ya sami goyon bayan majalisar dokokin jihar Ondo. Bayan murabus dinsa daga mukamin mataimakin gwamna, Cif Ajasin sau biyu ya gabatar da sunan Dakta NF Aina ga majalisar don tabbatar da shi a matsayin wanda zai maye gurbin Omoboriowo- bukatar da gidan ya yi watsi da ita akai-akai bisa ga hadin kai ga Omoboriowo.

An yi jayayya da zabensa, kuma kotun daukaka kara ta soke shi kafin a rantsar da shi, tare da mayar da Ajasin kan mukaminsa.[5] Bayan juyin mulkin da aka yi a ranar 31 ga Disamba 1983 wanda ya kawo Janar Muhammadu Buhari kan karagar mulki, an daure shi, kamar yadda kusan duk tsoffin gwamnoni da mataimakansu, amma sai aka sake shi ba tare da caji ba a cikin kasa da kwanaki 30.[2] Daga baya zai bayyana cewa Buhari yayi daidai da daure shi da sauran a lokacin.

Omoboriowo ya kasance Awoist. Ya wallafa kuma ya buga littafi kan jigogi akan Awoism wanda ya sha suka mai tsanani daga wasu woan Awoists waɗanda suka ɗauki aikin a matsayin wani yunƙuri na ɗan ƙasa wanda bai yi nasara ba don tsotsar Baba Awo. Har yanzu, Baba Awo (kamar yadda ake kiran Obafemi Awolowo) yana son sa kuma yana ci gaba da duba shi. Cif Omoboriowo ya yi ritaya daga siyasar bangaranci jim kadan bayan jamhuriya ta biyu amma ya ci gaba da ba da gudummawarsa ga fagen siyasar Najeriya. Ya kasance memba na taron tsarin mulki na 1996 kuma memba na Kwamitin Sulhu na Kasa na 1997/98

Daga baya ya zama Pro-chancellor kuma Shugaban kwamitin gudanarwa na Jami'ar Ado Ekiti,[6] A baya -bayan nan, ya kasance Shugaban Kamfanin Wutar Lantarki, Genesis Electricity da ke Abuja inda ya kasance na tsawon lokaci kafin ya mutu.

A cikin wayewar rayuwarsa Omoboriowo ya sami kwanciyar hankali a cikin addini kuma ya zama mara kunya, mai ikirarin haifuwarsa Kirista. Ya sanya kusan kowane jumla tare da ambaton Allah kuma ya rayu a ƙarƙashin radar yana bautar Allah har ya mutu. A cikin hirar, ya ce "Ni Kirista ne mai tsaurin kai, ina yin ibada a Taron yabo na Christ a Abuja. Ina cikin cocin karshen zamani. "
