Emmanuel Emovon, CON (Fabrairu 24, 1929 - Fabrairu 20, 2020) Farfesan Najeriya ne a fannin ilmin sinadarai kuma tsohon shugaban Jami'ar Jos.[1] A shekarar 1983, aka zabe shi a matsayin shugaban Kwalejin Kimiyya ta Najeriya kuma ya gaji Farfesa Umaru Shehu.[2]

An haifi Farfesa Emovon a watan Fabrairu 1929 a garin Benin, Jihar Edo, Kudancin Najeriya.[3] Ya mutu ranar 20 ga Fabrairu, 2020.[4]

Ya halarci Kwalejin Edo ta Benin City, inda ya samu takardar shedar Makarantun Yammacin Afirka a 1949. Ya wuce Kwalejin Jami'a, Ibadan a yanzu Jami'ar Ibadan don yin matsakaicin digiri na digiri na kimiyya amma ya sami digiri na farko a fannin ilimin kimiyya daga Jami'ar Landan da digiri na uku a jami'a daya.[5] Shi ne dan Najeriya na farko da ya samu digirin digirgir na Ph.D a Jami’ar Landan a fannin Chemistry a shekarar 1959.[6] Daga baya ya dawo Najeriya ya shiga Sashen Kimiyyar Kimiya na Jami’ar Ibadan, a matsayin ma’aikacin ilimi (Lecturer II). Ya zama farfesa a fannin sinadarai a shekarar 1971 kuma an nada shi mataimakin shugaban Jami'ar Jos a shekarar 1978.[7] Domin karrama shi da irin gudunmawar da ya baiwa masana ilimi a Najeriya, ya samu lambar yabo ta kasa ta lambar yabo ta kwamandan tsarin mulkin Nijar daga hannun Olusegun Obasanjo, tsohon shugaban Najeriya.[8]
