Jami'ar Jos ana taƙaita sunan da Unijos jami'ar tarayya ce da ke birnin Jos a jihar Filato a tsakiyar Najeriya.

An kafa Jami'ar Jos a watan Nuwamban shekarar 1971 a matsayin sashi na Jami'ar Ibadan. An ba ɗaliban farko adimishan a cikin Janairun Shekarar 1972 a matsayin ɗaliban digiri na farko kuma shirin digiri na farko na Digiri na Farko ya fara a cikin Oktoba 1973. A watan Oktoban 1975, gwamnatin mulkin soja ta lokacin a ƙarƙashin Janar Murtala Mohammed ta kafa Unijos a matsayin wata cibiya ta daban. Mataimakin shugaban jami'ar Unijos na farko shine Farfesa Gilbert Onuaguluchi. An ƙara shirye-shiryen karatun digiri a cikin 1977. A shekara ta 1978 aka kafa Faculties of Law and Environmental Sciences kuma an raba Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences.

A cikin shekarar 2003, Kamfanin Carnegie na New York ya ba Unijos kyautar dala miliyan 2 don samar da sashin tattara kuɗi na kanta.[1]
