Hulda Shaidi Swai, (an haife ta a shekara ta 1954), wata mai bincike ce 'yai ƙasar Tanzaniya kuma farfesa a kimiyyar rayuwa da injiniyanci na halittu. A cikin shekarar 1985, Swai ta sami lambar yabo ta Master of Science in Chemical engineering daga Jami'ar Queen Mary ta London.[3] Ta sami digiri na uku a fannin nazarin halittu daga jami'a guda a shekarar 2000.[2]
Bincike da aiki

Daga shekarun 2001 zuwa 2014, ta kasance mai bincike a Majalisar Nazarin Kimiyya da Masana'antu (CSIR) a Afirka ta Kudu. Ita ce ke jagorantar Sashen Kimiyya da Fasaha na Pan-African Center of Excellence for Research and Training in Applied Nanomedicine.[5]
A cikin shekarar 2015, ta koma Tanzaniya[2] kuma ta shiga Cibiyar Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Afirka ta Nelson Mandela (NM-AIST) a matsayin farfesa. Ita ce ke da alhakin jagorantar yunƙurin NM-AIST na kafa Cibiyar Ƙwararrun Ƙwararrun Afirka (ACE II project) da Bankin Duniya ke bayarwa. An zaɓi NM-AIST a watan Disamba 2016 don karbar bakuncin Cibiyoyin Kwarewa na Afirka guda biyu, kuma ta zama alhakin Cibiyar Bincike ta Afirka, Ci gaban Aikin Noma, Ingantaccen Ilimi da Ɗorewa (CREATES).[5]
A shekara ta 2009, Swai ta shiga cikin ƙasashen da ke samar da kwato kan kwamiti na ƙasashen Turai haɗin gwiwar Gabatarwa a asibiti (EDCTP).[6] Har ila yau, ta zauna a kan wasu kwamitocin ƙwararrun ƙwararrun ƙasashen duniya, irin su TB Global Alliance, ISHReCA, UNECA, Erasmus Mundus Nanofar, da kuma editan edita na Journal of Nanomedicine.[4]
A cikin shekarar 2013, an naɗa Swai a matsayin farfesa na musamman a Jami'ar Pretoria. A cikin shekarar 2019, ta zama shugabar kungiyar Binciken Kayan Aiki ta Afirka (AMRS).[5]

Binciken Swai akan nanomedicine don inganta magunguna don tarin fuka da zazzabin cizon sauro a halin yanzu tana cikin ci gaba na asali. Aikin Malaria a CREATES, wanda aka kaddamar a cikin shekarar 2016, ta karɓi kwatankwacin R110,000,000 (US $ 6 miliyan) daga Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya a matsayin aikin gwaji don tabbatar da yiwuwar nanomedicine a cikin bincike da kuma maganin cututtuka.[4]

[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]A cikin shekarar 2020, Swai ta zama mai riƙe da kujerar Oliver Tambo (OR Tambo Africa Research Chairs Initiative )[7] a cikin fasahar nanotechnology dangane da lafiyar halittu da aikin noma mai ɗorewa.[5][8]
Swai ita ce 2020 mai karɓar lambar yabo ta Tarayyar Afirka Kwame Nkrumah na Nahiyar Kimiyya na Ƙwararrun Kimiyya saboda aikinta kan amfani da nanotechnology don yin nazarin magungunan rigakafin zazzabin cizon sauro.[9][10]
