Ike Ekweremadu (an haife shi 12 ga watan mayun, 1962) a kauyen Amachara Mpu da ke Karamar hukuma Aninri a Jihar Enugu.[1] Ɗan Nijeriya ne, ɗan siyasa kuma lauya, wanda ya kasance sanata a majalisar dattawan Nijeriya tun daga watan Mayu shekara ta 2003. Dan jam'iyar People's Democratic Party (PDP) ne, kuma shine Mataimakin Shugaban Majalisar Dattawa karo na uku (6th, 7th and 8th) kenan.[2][3] A ranar 23 ga Yuni 2022, an tuhumi Ekweremadu tare da matarsa a Kotun Majistare ta Burtaniya da laifin haɗa baki don shirya Safarar ɗan shekara 21 zuwa Burtaniya domin cire wani sassa a jikin sa.[4] An same shi da laifi a ranar 23 ga watan Maris 2023 a Kotun hukunta manyan laifuka ta, Old Bailey.[5]

An haifi Ike Ekweremadu a Amachara Mpu da ke karamar hukumar Aninri ta jihar Enugu, kuma dan ƙabilar Igbo ne. Ya yi digirinsa na farko da na biyu a fannin shari'a a Jami'ar Najeriya, sannan aka kira shi zuwa Nigerian Bar a 1987. Ya kuma yi digirin digirgir a fannin shari'a a Jami'ar Abuja, Najeriya.[6][7][8]

An naɗa shi a matsayin shugaban zartarwa na karamar hukumar Aninri a ƙarƙashin jam'iyyar United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP) a shekarar 1997 kuma ya lashe mafi kyawun shugaban majalisar na shekara, a 1997.[6][9]

A cikin watan Satumba na 2009, an naɗa shi shugabancin kwamitin rikon kwarya na ƙungiyar raya tattalin arzikin kasashen yammacin Afirka (ECOWAS) don yin aikin dawo da tsarin mulkin Jamhuriyar Nijar.[10] An zaɓe shi mataimakin shugaban majalisar ECOWAS na farko kuma ya zama shugaban majalisar yankin a watan Agustan 2011.[11]

A ranar 12 ga Afrilu 2003 aka zaɓe shi a matsayin ɗan majalisar dattawan Najeriya.[12] A watan Satumban 2003, a matsayin mataimakin shugaban kwamitin majalisar dattawa kan harkokin yaɗa labarai, Cif Ekweremadu ya bayyana cewa majalisar za ta yi bincike mai zurfi kan zargin karɓar cin hanci da ministan babban birnin tarayya (FCT) Mallam Nasir el-Rufai ya yi.[13] Dangantaka tsakanin Nasir El-Rufai da majalisar dattawa ta ci gaba da yin tsami, kuma daga karshe an tuhumi El-Rufai da laifin almundahana a shekarar 2008.[14][15] A shekarar 2005, Sanata Kenechukwu Nnamani ya doke Ike Ekweremadu a takarar shugaban majalisar dattawan Najeriya.[16]
