Uche Chukwumerije (11 Janairu 1939 – 19 Afrilu 2015), wanda aka fi sani da “Comrade Chukwumerije[1] ” saboda gwagwarmayar sa,[2] an zaɓe shi a matsayin Sanata a Tarayyar Najeriya a watan Afrilun 2003, mai wakiltar gundumar Abia ta Arewa.[1]

Daga karshe Chukwumerije ya sauya sheka zuwa jam’iyyar Progressive Peoples Alliance a shekarar 2006, kuma aka sake zaɓen shi a majalisar dattawa a ranar 28 ga watan Afrilu, 2007.[5]
