Hausawa suna daya daga cikin manya-manyan kabilu a Kasar Najeriya, Nijar, Ghana, Sudan, Kamaru da kuma yawancin kasashen yamma da tsakiyar Afirka. Su kaden ya taka wani muhimmin bangare a cikin ci gaban Nijeriya music, bayar da tasu gudunmuwar da irin wannan abubuwa a matsayin Goje, a daya-stringed irin goge. Akwai nau'ikan kide-kide iri biyu na kide-kide na gargajiya na Hausa: kidan mutanen karkara da kidan kotun birni. Sun gabatar da tsarin al'adun gargajiya na Afirka wanda har yanzu ya shahara a yau.
