Alhaji Adam Babah-Alargi (an haifeshi ranar 25 ga watan Disamban, 1927 - ya rasu ranar 4 ga watan Nuwamban shekara ta 2019)[1] injiniyan Ghana ne wanda ke da alhakin yawancin ayyukan ƙasa a Ghana.[2][3] Shi ne ɗan ƙasar Ghana na farko da ya kafa ƙwararren mashawarcin injiniya na asali na ƙasar ta Ghana na farko. Ya kuma kasance memba na Accra West reshe na Rotary Club.[4]

An haifi Babah-Alargi a ranar 25 ga watan Disamban shekara ta 1927 a Korle Gonno a Accra ga iyayen Hausawa. Yayi karatun injiniyan gini a makarantar kwalejin Hammersmith, London, Ingila.[5][6][7]

Babah-Alargi ya haɗu da Bolten Hennesy da Partners a shekara ta 1958 bayan karatun kwaleji. A wannan lokacin kuma, an caje kamfanin da ayyukan a Ghana kuma waɗannan ayyukan suna a Jami'ar Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Kwame Nkrumah . An kuma sanya aikin hajji ga wasu daga cikin wadannan ayyukan sune; Gidan Mataimakin Shugaban, Makarantar Gine-gine (Matakan I da II), Shagon Pharmacy da kuma Gidajen zama musamman zauren Sarauniya Elizabeth, wanda Sarauniya ta ba da izini lokacin da ta ziyarci Ghana a cikin shekara ta 1961. A cikin kuma shekara ta 1960 ya shiga OVE Aropp da Partners (sannan kuma babbar kamfanin ba da shawara a kasashen waje a Ghana) a matsayin darakta. A can, aikinsa na farko shi ne lura da yadda aka tsaya a fadar shugaban kasa a dandalin Black Star, aikin da ake buƙatar shirya kafin ziyarar Sarauniyar. Daga shekara ta 1961 zuwa shekara ta 1964 ya yi aiki a Asibitin Koyarwa na Korle Bu a matsayin kawai injiniyan Gana daga cikin ƙungiyar. Aikin ya ga ginin dakunan tiyata, na haihuwa, da na yara da sauransu. A shekaraa ta 1965 shugaban kasar na wancan lokacin Dr. Kwame Nkrumah ya sa shi ya sake tsara matsayin shugaban kasa a dandalin Black Star Square kamar yadda shugaban yake tunanin ya yi yawa. Shugaban duk da haka, bai iya amfani da matsayin wanda ya kamata a fara a farkon shekara ta 1966 sakamakon kifar da gwamnatinsa a farkon shekara ta 1966. A shekara ta 1967 ya kafa kamfanin sa na ba da shawara da sunan BAB Consultancy. Kamfanin shine farkon tuntuba na asali wanda ɗan asalin ƙasar Ghana ya kafa a ƙwarewar sa. Don haka ne aka fara ba da shawarwari na asali game da aikin injiniya na asali a cikin Ghana. Ya yi aiki a kan ayyuka da yawa a cikin shekaru masu zuwa sannan kuma ya kasance mai ba da shawara ga Bankin Ghana, Bankin Zuba Jari na Kasa, da kuma Messrs SKOA. Ya yi ritaya a cikin shekara ta 1987 kuma an ba da kasuwancin ga ma'aikatansa.

Shi tare da wasu mutum goma (10) sun kafa kungiyar Rotary ta Accra-West. A shekarar ta 1987, Marigayi Michael Asafo-Boakye, Hakimin Gundumar na wancan lokacin, ya nada shi a matsayin wakili na musamman na Hakimin Gundumar don taimakawa wajen kafa kungiyar Rotary a Osu-RE.

Ya rasu a watan Nuwamban shekara ta 2019 yana da shekara 91. Babban Limamin na Kasa Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu ne ya jagoranci jana’izar tasa. Shi ne mafi tsufa da ke rayuwa a Ghana kafin mutuwarsa.
