Sanwo-Olu ya kammala karatunsa na digiri a Jami’ar Lagos Akoka, Yaba campus, da MBBS, ta kuma ci gaba da samun takardar shaidar kammala digiri a Asibiti da Kula da Lafiya (PGDHM) da kuma Diploma a fannin Anesthesia (DA). Sannan tana da digiri na biyu a fannin kiwon lafiyar jama'a (MPH) da kuma digiri na biyu a fannin harkokin kasuwanci (MBA).[ana buƙatar hujja]

Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu ya yi aiki da gwamnatin jihar Legas na tsawon shekaru 25, inda ta zama babban daraktan kula da lafiya kuma babban jami’in gudanarwa a cibiyar lafiya ta Harvey Road Comprehensive Health Centre da ke Yaba, kafin daga bisani a mayar da ta babban asibitin Somolu.[4][5][6][7]
