Ifi Amadiume (an haife ta ranar 23 ga watan Afrilu 1947) mawaƙiyace a Nijeriya, masaniyar ilimin ɗan adam kuma marubuciyar rubutu. Ta shiga Sashin Addini na Kwalejin Dartmouth, New Hampshire, Amurka, a 1993.

Tayi karatu a Najeriya kafin ta koma Burtaniya a 1971. Tayi karatu a Makarantar Gabas ta Gabas da Nazarin Afirka, Jami'ar Landan, ta sami BA (1978) da PhD (1983) a fannin ilimin halayyar dan adam.

Ta kasance abokiyar bincike har tsawon shekara guda a Jami'ar Nijeriya, Enugu, kuma ta koyar kuma ta yi karatu a kasashen Ingila, Kanada, Amurka da Senegal. [1] Aikinta a Afirka ya haifar da tatsuniyoyi guda biyu masu alaƙa da Ibo: Tushen Matriarchal na Afirka (1987), da Daa Malea Malea Malea Maza, Mijin Mata (Zed Press, 1987). Ana girmama Amadiume saboda aikinta na farko a cikin zancen mata : "aikinta ya ba da babbar gudummawa ga sababbin hanyoyin tunani game da jima'i da jinsi, batun iko, da matsayin mata a tarihi da al'adu". [4] Duk da haka ta jawo mata suka saboda "zaton da take yi cewa dole ne mace ta kasance da kwanciyar hankali da soyayya."[5]
