Iwoye-Ketu birni ne, da ke a Imeko Afon, Jihar Ogun a kudu maso yammacin Najeriya da kuma wani yankin yammacin Benin. [1] Al’ummar na da iyaka da karamar hukumar Iwajowa da ke jihar Oyo a arewa. Ta shahara wajen samar da auduga.[2] [3]

Al’adar baka ta ce garin Iwoye-Ketu ya samo asali ne daga tsohon garin Ile Ife, asalin kabilar Yarabawa da kuma tushen al’adun Yarabawa. Sarakunan gargajiya na birnin su ne ’ya’yan gunkin Yarbawa, Oduduwa kasancewar shi ne sarkin Ile Ife na farko. [4] A tatsuniya, Olumu, wani fitaccen sarki ne kuma babban basaraken gargajiya na garin wanda ya yi hijira daga Ile Ife ne ya kirkiro Iwoye-Ketu. Olomu ya yi hijira zuwa Iwoye Ketu da manyan abubuwa guda uku: rawani, sanda mai suna "Opa Ogbo" da kuma abin bautarsa mai suna "Orisa Oluwa".[5]

Gonakin gida na noma ne kuma jami’ar yankin ita ce Jami’ar Aikin Gona ta Tarayya, Abeokuta, FUNAAB. Duk da haka, al'adar Orisa Oluwa ta hana noman alade saboda aladu suna da datti.[5]

Al'adar gida kuma ta hana amfani da laima.
