Jimoh Aliu MFR, (11 Nuwamba 1939 - 17 Satumba 2020), wanda aka sani da Aworo, ɗan Najeriya ne mai wasan kwaikwayo, sculptor, marubucin fina-finai, marubuci kuma darakta.[1][2]

An haifeshi ranar 11 ga Nuwamba 1939 a Okemesi, wani birni a jihar Ekiti da ke a kudu maso yammacin Najeriya.

Mahaifinsa, Aliu Fakoya, wani limamin Ifa ne wanda ya fito daga Oke-Imesi yayin da mahaifiyarsa ta fito daga Iloro-Ekiti.[3][4]

Aliu ya fara wasan kwaikwayo ne a shekarar 1959 lokacin da Akin Ogungbe, wani gogaggen ɗan wasan kwaikwayo na Najeriya ya ziyarci garinsu, a shekarar da ya shiga ƙungiyar wasan kwaikwayo ta Akin Ogungbe inda ya samu kwarewa a wasan kwaikwayo.[5] A shekarar 1966, bayan ya shafe shekaru bakwai tare da ƙungiyar Ogungbe, ya kafa wata ƙungiya mai suna "Jimoh Aliu Concert Party" da ke Ikare a jihar Ondo a kudu maso yammacin Najeriya.[6]

Daga baya ya shiga aikin sojan Najeriya a shekarar 1967 amma ya yi ritaya a shekarar 1975 da nufin mayar da hankali kan wasan kwaikwayo da kuma tallata mawaƙa masu zaman kansu a ƙarƙashin ƙungiyar al’adu ta Jimoh Aliu.[7] Ya shirya shirye-shiryen wasan kwaikwayo na talabijin da yawa irin su Iku Jare Eda Yanpan yanrin da Fopomoyo wanda ke nuna sarki Sunny Ade, aminin Jimoh Aliu. Daga baya an gano cewa babban abokinsa, Sunny Ade, ya kwana da matarsa, Orisabunmi. Daga karshe Jimoh Aliu ya yafewa abokin nasa amma ya rabu da Orisabunmi.

Babban jarumin, Fadeyi Oloro, wanda Ojo Arowosegbe ya buga ya zama wani muhimmin ɓangare na samar da Jimoh Aliu. Wannan Fadeyi Oloro dai wani ɗan ƙungiyar Jimoh Aliu ne (dake jihar Ondo) ya buga kafin daga baya Ojo Arowosegbe ya shiga ƙungiyar. Matar asalin Fadeyi Oloro kuma ta buga ainihin halin Orisabunmi kafin na ƙarshe (wanda aka fi sani da su) ya fito da Orisabunmi.[8][9]

Aliu ya rasu ne a Asibitin Koyarwa na Jami’ar Jihar Ekiti da ke Ado-Ekiti a ranar 17 ga Satumba, 2020 bayan gajeriyar rashin lafiya. Yana da shekaru 80 a duniya.[10]
